Zombie Dodgemall

8/6/10

I found myself walking inside a large shopping mall, surrounded by zombies….only these zombies were docile and a few were talking to one another. Some zombies were in groups, while some were by themselves. A few of them cracked a smile at me, while a few waved in a nonchalant manner. Some continued to walk with blank looks upon their faces. I ended up walking into a few shops, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary; simply stores containing clothing attire, shoes, and gifts. I approached this one shop that contained a large wooden door with no windows. As I opened the door, I was amazed at what I saw: a large green hilly area that looked exactly like the Windows XP wallpaper known as “Bliss”. There were giant towers present, and helicopters hovering about. I saw these SWAT team members jump out of the choppers, attached with ropes and landing on the towers. Some of the team were descending down the tower attached to a rope as well. I thought, “This must be were they train”. I closed the large wooden door and continued my trek through the mall. I started to notice the zombies were no longer friendly towards me. They began to frown and scoff at me. Some of them began to ebb a heavy flow of clear fluids from their mouths. I tried to dodge them in an attempt to get away. I felt as if I was playing a game of dodgeball, mixed with football; as they lunged towards me I was able to use quick footing to sidestep or jump back. Some came at me with a tackling motion, but I dove to the floor and slid on my belly and avoided them. For a brief moment I was running in place (much like Lionel in the brilliant film, Brain Dead where the floor was so saturated with blood and guts that he was unable to get traction and thus ran in place). A hand grabbed me and slid me under the legs of a group of zombies. Apparently, a few zombies wanted to help me escape. They assisted me with dodging the last group and one of them took me by the hand and led me to a side exit, in which I awoke.

I've created an image of what I saw through the large wooden door
